About the You Make the Difference® Workshop: This three day Hanen Licensing Workshop provides intensive, small-group training to family support professionals and speech-language pathologists who provide General Education/Prevention services to communities. The workshop addresses the integration of the latest literature in the field of child development and the Hanen approach, which empowers parents to facilitate their child’s language skills in everyday contexts. Workshop Format: Throughout the workshop, participants take part in experiential, hands-on activities as the Instructor guides them through the process of leading a You Make The Difference Parent-Child Program. Principles of adult learning and family-centered practice are incorporated throughout. IMPORTANT: Full attendance and participation in all three days of the workshop is mandatory.
